Girlie Day Out
[hehe... shan's comments r SO cute! ^^... feel loved. Man... dat tag board's just soooo awesome, can't get ova it! Hui Hui]
Today... what a mixture of events, feelings, emotions. With about three and a half hours worth of sleep, I managed to cycle to Belle's place with Shan, to spend Belle's last day here before her trip back to M'sia for 2 weeks. The girlie afternoon was filled right up to the top with fun, laughter and chit-chat. Ahhh... the girlie memorable moments.
Just to explain the lack of sleep, it was due to the performance last night for China's National Day, which lasted till about 10.30pm. The next event was a movie marathon with the chickies, Bec, Prisc and Anthea, at Carousel, 11.15pm. After watching The Devil Wears Prada (the fashion she wears is hot), John Tucker Must Die (a bit cliched, but the best of the three) and My Super Ex-Girlfriend (quite boring and couldn't identify with), we motored to send Anthea home, then to Bec's place to hang out. By then it was about 4.30am; and after some awesome chat with Prisc, Bec and I sent her home. Around 6.30am, our own little catch up conversation followed, till around 8.00am. Finally home and ready to sleep, I managed to get some shut eye till about 11.30am. It was unbearably hot by then, so I got up and rummaged through the pantry, satisfying the growing hunger since the night before.
At 12pm, decided to ride to Belle's house, like I promised the night before. Found Shan on the net, so we met at Pinetree Gully intersecting South Street, then it's off to Belle's place for a last minute gathering! The ride didn't take too long, bearable. The uphill ride was quite all right, but Shan was slightly tired. Fitness! From 2pm to 6pm, we talked, lazed around, ate, laughed, joked, flipped through mags, browsed through photos ... the joys of the precious holidays. We were planning to give Shan a highly personal make-over experience, but we ran out of time. Next time we said, next time.
Hui Hui ^^b
